Teaching With God's Heart for the World
--By Ann Dunagan

This is the two-volume world missions curriculum (with over 500 pages) Ann wrote years ago to assist homeschooling families and Christian teachers (in both churches and Christian schools) to impart a fervent heart for world missions in children. The curriculum includes day-by-day teaching plans, missionary highlights, motivational mission stories, crafts, songs, prayer projects, and hundreds of ways to incorporate a passion for the lost into nearly every subject (including Bible Study, Family Devotions, Reading, Writing, Geography, History, Art, Science, and even highlights for Math).

The curriculum presents a "whirlwind tour" of God's enduring passion for missions - all-the-way through world history and all-across-the-globe. Using unit-studies, this curriculum is created to be used over a one-year school year, although it can be easily adapted to be used throughout two years. It can be used as a core curriculum guide (for elementary children), or as a suppliment to another curriculum. It is written especially for elementary grade levels, but it can also be used for the whole family to study missions together.

As far as we know, this two-volume curriculum, Teaching With God's Heart for the World, is no longer in print, and there are only a few used copies available for purchase (see ebay or Amazon). Currently, Harvest Ministry is considering republishing this material so it can remain available. Until then, we have decided to offer this curriculum on-line in individual unit-studies (completely FREE of charge!!! as download pdf files) to print from your own home. We hope they will be a blessing to you, and to your children, and to the LORD! (And just for fun - hahah - I left a little spelling error on the welcome page - included on every file - just to let you know I'm very human!!! lol! ~In His Love, Ann)

Also, if your family is planning to use this curriculum during the 2008-2009 school year, be sure to check Ann's new Mission-Minded LIFE blog on a regular basis. Ann is going to be slowly progressing through the curriculum this year (with her own younger children and another family), and plans to give regular feedback and up-to-date comments, along with fresh thoughts from Dunagan family's mission-minded adventures. If you have access to the internet, we encourage you to be a part of this encouraging on-line forum. You can share your weekly reactions and thoughts, and together we can encourage our families to have a greater heart for our world!

God BLESS you!

It includes current information and statistics from a Christian viewpoint.

Also check out the new children's version of "Operation World" called Window on the World It's an incredible full-color book with photographs and information on over 100 people groups and countries around the world!!!

    Evangelism by Fire
Ignite your fire for world evangelism with this dynamic book by Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke.

    Bruchko
Exciting true missionary story about a young man's perseverance to reach and impact a primitive tribe in South America for Jesus. This is a great book to challenge a young person who is beginning to sense the Lord's call to missions.

    Is That Really You, God?
The inspirational story of Loren Cunningham, founder of YWAM. An excellent book, sharing not only the testimony of how YWAM got started, but also how to recognize the Lord's direction in your life.

Daring to Live on the Edge
An encouraging book about the adventure of faith and finances. This is a great book for those just "stepping out" into full-time ministry, or for those the Lord is challenging to "step out" into a new level of giving to the Lord's work.

    Friend Raising
A very practical book about building a missionary support team that lasts.

    Hero Tales
These are our favorite missionary biographies to read aloud to children. The stories are well written, and a perfect length for a family devotion time. (They're also classy hard cover books that would look beautiful on your coffee table!)

    Trailblazers
A series of excellent missionary biographies for children to read themselves.

    Jesus Freaks
This book is incredible. It shares story after story of Christians (both long ago, and in recent history) who were willing to surrender everything (even their lives) to follow Jesus. Inspirational and challenging for any age level, but especially appropriate for teens and young adults.
