What is the purpose for Christian education?
As parents and teachers, we must "train up a child in the way he should go" (Proverbs 22:6), and in the Great Commission, Jesus said the way we should go is "into all the world and preach the Gospel" (Mark 16:15).
At Mission-Minded LIFE, we want to help you to educate the next generation for God's purposes.
Missions is not an isolated "subject" to study, but an attitude and an exciting (although challenging) way of looking at our entire world! Just as Christianity influences every aspect of our lives, so also should God's heart for the lost completely change our outlook and our priorities.
Your child may never be called to foreign missionary service, but as a Christian, he or she is called to be "mission-minded." As Christians, we are ALL called to participate in God's Great Commission. And it's an awesome privilige to train children, from their youth, to fulfill God's plan!
The famous missionary explorer David Livingstone once said, "This generation can only reach this generation." But will we raise our children to reach effectively their generation for Jesus Christ?
